The XFL is 2 weeks in and some people believe there is a quarterback problem.INSTAGRAM: flemlorapsTWITTER: FlemLoRaps
Yo Flemlo I've been keeping an eye on your boy Joe Burrow yes hes had ups and downs but that's just because the NFL broke protocol and skipped the preseason so he could have had 4 games of experience that would have been a great help towards his development so for that those down games he really can't be held accountable for now if the NFL doesn't mismanage him like they do with alot of ppl plus you know the NFL is scripted you know that right so in some games he might look unusually shitty that's when you know the fix is in anyway as long as the NFL doesn't damage his career too badly and if you can get decent weapons you could see a playoff berth and about 2 years maybe 3 depending on this season and the draft I wouldnt be surprised if the tanked the rest of the season shitty record means high draft picks so who knows yall might turn it around
Already like it more than the NFL, its a team sport. I dont watch football because of a specific quarterback. Dont care if they get hurt, next man up.
stay tuned. The STL us totally GEEKED OUT . it$ Mardi Grad . . . get you r beads!!
Please keep covering 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
What's up with your girlie hair
While McGloin was an idiot for what he said, on the flipside I LOVED the brutally honest feedback in week 2 from Landry Jones. He had a really shitty first half and every time they talked to him on the sideline he pretty much totally admitted he sucked ass. He did so without getting upset or throwing a fit/anyone else under the bus. It was delightful as hell. I'm totally enjoying watching the games.
Give the XFL sometime. Quarterback problem!? Football is a team sport. Quarterback throws and Receivers catch and Line Blocks. Everyone has a job. Failure to do your job makes the quarterback looks bad.
Okay, you've convinced me. Time to give the XFL a try.
Was going to go to the Defenders game on the 15th, but man, Ticketmaster SUCKS. Can't even get an order in. I'll watch on TV.
The XFL is looking good.
Tate Martel would be a guy I'd like to see in the XFL.
Josh Johnson just bounced back !💪🏼
Man LA Wildcats put on a show. This league has real potential and if they recruit high school stars for 3 years of pro ball instead of college this could blow up big
You lost me at hello
Kap or Teeb would be huge signings for the XFL, but do you think they'd crush the competition to the point of diminishing the league?
Have you made a Chris Johnson video yet?
Honestly this league needs to stay the fuck away from characters like Kapernick, Tebow and Manziel. If I turn on my tv and one of them is playing, I’m changing channels.
change channel then bitch nobody force u watch if they sign them
STL and HOU have legit quarterbacks that I predict will just keep getting better as the season progresses. A few hiccups here and there, but Ta’amu and PJ are talented and fun to watch. The rest of them...... Are barely worth mentioning 😂
The Defenders could probably beat the Redskins
Really enjoying the XFL ESPN coverage sucks though
What we’re seeing is the Evolution
Bring a team to Sacramento!!! Dont like the winers and faders.
What about Landry Jones? I'm from is home town Artesia New Mexico he played QB for the Artesia Bulldogs High School watch his HS flims
Next place they turn is endorsements deals if they promote players like the NBA does and not like NFL you will have a lot of players wanting to come and try be the LeBron or the Giannis of that league which will come with hell of endorsements packages and deals that will make the players a lot of money promote players not the shield and you have something here
Tibo would be fun, but I think his baseball career would be a more financially secure option for him. as for Kaepernick, I hope they don't go after him, while he has the talent, he has too much extra baggage and a chip on his shoulder and too many people don't like him that his entry may very well kill the league before it has a chance to take root.
I disagree. The quarterback thing isn't a "thing" at all. I saw some AWESOME TALENT but no matter how much talent you have "practice" "training" and repetition" is key to having a successful program. These guys in the XFL just haven't done the reps as of yet to be a flowing success. But if the league survives the most certainly will improve. The talent I saw was amazing this weekend thus far.
I think the NFL should view the XFL almost how the NHL does the AHL. But not exactly farm teams but more of a pro-developmental league. I could see a lot of talent that didn’t get drafted proving their worth and getting a shot in the NFL. And players who are struggling and get cut from NFL teams, come to XFL teams
Great objective show!! Keep it up. I’m enjoying the XFL. The teams are definitely a step below NFL so far but they are getting better. The XFL players make more money than most of us do. Not the overblown NFL salaries. Johnny Bench played 22 years in MLB and was a Hall if Fame catcher and he only made $2.2 million.
Keep it going XFL
If they can get some quality QB's, I'd really enjoy the product, just so sloppy on the passing game, hurts the overall feel. That's my only real grievance right now. When Landry Jones is a marquee QB, you know you have some issues.
Watched my first 2 XFL games today, was actually really good. Way better than watching a Browns vs. Dolphins game
Not a high bar, that.
Colin Kaepernick is looking for a job I think.
Jordan Ta'amu is actually pronounced "tuh-amu" just btw
Honestly we tired of the nfl. I hope players and more importantly fans would prefer the xfl over the nfl. Id rather be a superstar in the xfl than an avg dude in the nfl. Forgot kap and tebow, go after the rising college kids right before the nfl draft :)
Andy Dalton could be a prospect
The NFL should use the XFL as a G-League type of development platform. Just think if NFL Teams had some stock in an XFL team that allowed them first shot at the players from that team if they want to call them up to the NFL. The XFL team has the option to match salary to keep them if they so choose but it will come down to player decision and will they get an actual shot to start in the NFL or are they signed as a back up only who has to hope they get a chance to play! Plus the NFL and XFL do not play at the same time so could late round draft picks or even QBs that need development and even practice squad players be sent to the XFL roster to help develop in a game environment without losing their contract from the NFL team. I know the NFL is selfish and doesn't want any of their money to go to the XFL but having those NFL teams linked to an XFL team they could actually help the fanbase of the XFL team and give the NFL a new revenue stream with year round football partnerships!
Keep your video going this is how I keep with the XFL let's go Renegades
They should have dropped one of these teams in C bus. We get 100,000 to college games per week.
Pj Walker is the best qb
It's obvious that they need more practice / play time. But it's brand new. They will get better. Let's give them a break.
The XFL ratings will get back to week 1 or better this week as well as attendance because NBA all-star weekend events and festivities cut into that viewership last week.
“Here in Houston” hold up FlemLo from Houston?
Hey FlemLo, as far as the QB's I agree with the three guys you named. The all seem to have a high ceiling. However I think you might be overlooking Landry Jones in Dallas. He was held out of the first game because he was recovering from injury. Last week he had a rocky first half but he had a really good second half and ended up throwing for 305. He has NFL experience and I think he will emerge as one of the "must see" QB's in the XFL.
Great stuff Bud, very interesting. I googled "how is the XFL doing" and up you came. Keep it up.
XFL feels good, hope it sticks around and expands. Glad to see Cardale playing and looking good through 2 weeks.
Like everyone else has said, keep going. There aren't enough videos like this apart from like mini game recaps and memeing.
Only one negative 👎🏼 this Season so far, Matty McGloin acting like a whiny little Ponce. Well, maybe not acting.
Here for xfl
Tampa Bay here and I can say with utmost certainty that the teams poor performance in weeks 1 & 2 impacted my decision to NOT attend the teams first home game this weekend. Week 1 we were excited and were planning on making it a family event to attend the inaugural season home game. Week 2 we wanted to see how they performed before committing to tickets. And the rest is history...
The XFL’s first season is bait for all the players who did not want to be the first ones on the dance floor. I think there are plenty of college, ex-college, ex-pros and even retirees that would be down to play next year and not be looking to go to the NFL next year. It be crazy to see Arian Foster do one season just cuz, Tony Gonzalez, Colin Kaep, Tim Tebow, Johnny manziel, ray rice, dez bryant, lemichael James...people like Jameis Winston are going to need places to play too in three years 👀
Flem try out for a xfl team!
It’s a little chilly outside as spring breaks attendance will improve with warmer weather
I haven't watched the league but it's not surprising that the QB play is again under scrutiny. These guys are doing the SAME THING and expecting different results. Look at the 3 guys you pointed to. Fringey NFL guys due to arm talent or accuracy and quality mobility. XFL has to look at arena cfl and CFB and hunt QBs. Not names that washed out of the NFL, guys who need more time at QB. Athletes. Guys you can try to develop. You need good QB coaches, or just put Jordan Palmer on the payroll to go workshop with all these guys. You need creative OCs who are going to try stuff that is hiding in the dark places of the CFB world. Things that could be the NEW NFL in 10 years. Everything must be done to make the QBs job easy because people love scoring. There shouldn't be a QB in that league older than 27 years old. Every team should have 2 on the roster and 2 they can't protect from other teams that they try to develop. Much like a PS. However, they should be chasing guys the minute they don't hit an NFL roster or PS. Everyone of those QBs must be a good athlete though because as OL talent goes down, QB mobility must go up. If the guy was considered a pocket passer just forget trying him in the XFL.
Seattle just love sports
The XFL will fail... They will be lucky to stay on network TV this first season. Wait until you see a huge drop in ratings Week 3.
I hope for nothing but success for the XFL, when there's competition - the consumers win. Thanks for covering them
That's why the XFL must be a league that pays competitive salary that's why the usfl will always be remembered and missed because they dared to be as great as the NFL if the XFL is going to become that League Vince McMahon is going to have to franchise these teams and leave the single entity model and he's going to need to find owners who have pocket as deep as his so this league can compete I think there's nothing wrong with players having the opportunity to play whichever season they prefer it's a job at the end of the day it's a sport at the end of the day and just like ourselves we would like to have the Liberty to pursue our passion whatever we decide it to be if a player wants to be a spring player so be it if a player wants to be a fall player so be it it's the sport of football and the usfl is the first League that discovered the spring Market and the spring Market is real and if you're going to pursue the spring Market you're going to have to have the balls to fulfill it because if you want to have a league that is going to be a minor league it's going to come and go because fans do not want to see a lesser product they want to see an equal product and players do not want to be paid lesser for the same job these guys are doing the same job as players in the NFL getting paid less you still snap the ball you still kick the ball you still run the ball you still pass the ball its the same game it's the same discipline so they have to find a way to have competitive contracts and let the fans decide.
Get better qb's but after watching Walker who is a stud they have to grab up Jonny Manziel!
Xfl team in Detroit would get huge fan turnout
The qb play is awful cuz the oline play sux....they're not getting time and if they're a more running style of qb they can scramble like these guys they're more capable of being successful in this league...Murray and mcgloin are statues...plus teams other than St Louis aren't running the ball much
Keep up the great coverage fam. Stay up.
I think you missed Landry Jones he had a very good week 2 especially a good 2nd half. It was his first game and with limited practice. But ny and Tampa have problems
Phil walker learned under Aluck a little bit so no wonder he’s nice
let people invest into the teams, let them be part owners now that the teams doesnt worth much! that would create a lot of traction and that would be super interesting to see and to be part of.
Do u think everybody in attendance paid to get in I imagine they are giving away tickets?
I think the C'Link was at 42% capacity, and the second home game is expected to be the same (maybe better)... we will see. I love getting to see Zorn coach a local Professional(?) Football team! But for this particular budding Dragons fan, I am reminded of the 1992 Seahawks, when I watch the Dragons offense play, and that is just the real, unsweetened, truth... What can I say, but that dude is right. This league has a MAJOR DEFICIENCY, in the QB Talent Department (as if such a department could actually exist)... That second game, I was thinking about that 1992 Seahawks Offense, specifically the QB's on the roster... Gems like Stan Gelbaugh, Kelly Stouffer, and Dan McGwire, made this young 12 despise his beloved team, for letting his first ever favorite QB Dave Krieg, leave (all due respect to Zorn, but I was born in 81, and the 84 team was my first true football memory)! Lol Anyways... Here's to success for this version 2.0, of the XFL! Cheers!
Once we finish building our MLS stadium in Downtown - SACRAMENTO needs an XFL team !
Put in Braun Strowman as a linebacker!
The XFL rulebook is overly simplistic and it’s only a matter of time before teams learn how to abuse it. There is a reason that the other leagues have such complicated rulebooks and it’s only a matter of time before the XFL figures out why.
I like what you did here keep it up, You got my sub if you do.
seattle knows how to partay!
Best breakdowns on ALthe
Of course Tampa can't even get a good XFL team...
Idc what people say XFL is exciting football and it brings a unique fan experience. Its much less gimmicky than its predecessor but still has that WWE (not to be cheesy) showtime element. If they could get a couple marquee QB's that cant break the NFL for whatever reasons they'll be even better.
U may start seeing high school players opt out of college d1-3, and just go straight to xfl. They'd be getting paid, so win win.
XFL is awesome ! Gives lots of people a good chance to experience semi pro football. Lots of American citizens have a paycheck to look forward to !
The XFL needs a game changer to land top talent..don't have the college rule.. XFL should go after kids after high school graduation that need that money now..they need other ideals also
It's season 1 and week 2 just finished..people expecting way to much way to early..the NFL quaterbacks had years to evolve and grow..relax with unreal expectations..I love the XFL 💪🏻
Hand talker level 9000
You think Antonio brown should play in the XFL till an NFL team scoop him up?
This league has been fun but you have to think it’s also acting as an NFL farm system. Any players showing promise are just going to get poached by NFL teams. It’s not like the former USFL where players were getting paid top dollar.
PJ Walker! Temple Owls Are Everywhere. Go Owls!!!
I love my eagles too much i couldn’t watch another league just cause i wouldn’t be a fan of any team.
It actually kind of makes sense that the athletes are having early success at quarterback. Teams are very new to each other and people will be figuring out what works as they go along. I would see this settling down a little bit and those other quarterbacks will start to even out the playing field if thing keeps going.
I like your analysis and the way you view the XFL in a very objective way not like others just giving opinions without solid backing. I hope the XFL succeeds and become stronger and of course therefore be able to generate more money to pay the athletes higher in the future. Who knows maybe in 10 years we might have a super super bowl between NFL winner and XFL winner. Would be awesome especially if XFL winner wins haha. Crossing fingers for and supporting the new XFL.
Get high school kids instead of going to college you come here and get paid and ball out
I’m from Toronto Canada I love football especially the nfl but my city doesn’t have an nfl team so I never been as invested as I am to the nba and nhl I think the cfl is complete garbage I’m not even gonna hold you there’s some great players but not enough to make multiple teams great but I always think what if the cfl where to get their best player make one team and go off to the nfl who thinks that sounds like a brilliant idea and how do you think that team would do in the nfl?
New sub, is the intro a song I can find on spotify?
That league is roughly a month old, no preseason. Give it time
XFL is live on youtube also so these athletes can play in front of an audience. but who wants to watch a league with no history. if McMahon didn't let his EGO get in the way in 2001 than we would have a B-League to the NFL
We get Wayne at the beginning and the end? 👍
1 thing I give props to AAF is the QB's, I'm shocked none of those guys got an invite but Coaching begins in scouting, that's what separates
I want trevoyne boykin or Collin Kline In the league
I'm from Canadastan, I totally enjoy the XFL a bit more than the slower NFL. The CFL also moves quicker than the NFL. It's the size of some of those NFL dudes that blow me away lol. I am cheering for the Vipers to get their first offensive TD right now ;)
Of course the XFL has a quarterback problem. Hell, football has a quarterback problem there isn't even 30 good QB's in the NFL.
